To The Wide World of Arctic Cat

Snow Doesn't Cover the Earth. It Uncovers it.

Some people see snowfall in the forecast and start planning to shut down. Pack it in. Throw a log on the fire and put their feet up.

But in the Wide World of Arctic Cat®, there's a rare breed of adventurers. We don’t see snow as a stopping point. We see it as a gateway to untouched back stretches of forests, mountain vistas and winding trails.

When the snow comes down, the world opens up. To new experiences, new trails and new friends. To memories. Camaraderie. And to the greatest of the great outdoors.

Our passion is exploration. Our promise is a commitment to vehicles that take you there like nobody else can. And our pride is visible in every single thing we do.

Here, in the Wide World of Arctic Cat.

About Arctic Cat

We were born in the North, raised in the snow and still make our home on the great plains of Minnesota. Arctic Cat was formed by Edgar Hetteen in 1962, and transformed into a leading snowmobile manufacturer over decades of trail riding, racing and bringing friends and families together on the snow. The snowmobiling community is tight-knit, small and proud. And we love being part of it.

In 2017, we became part of the Textron, Inc. family of brands, which includes Bell® helicopters, Cessna aircraft and more. Textron's commitment to power, performance and precision engineering bolsters our passion for world-class snowmobiles, creating a partnership that can lead to new breakthroughs and new ways for you to explore.

Today, the bulk of our manufacturing happens at our facility in Thief River Falls, MN, with trails in our backyard and the mountains just a day’s drive away. Our snowmobiles explore all over the world, but they all start with American workers and an American work ethic. Just one more reason we’re proud to stand behind every snowmobile we make.
